Project Summary
The Altruis Care programme is a welfare initiative that provides targeted financial aid to the asnaf, the urban poor, single mothers, the elderly, students, and people who are ill or disabled — so they can live more dignified and secure lives.
Programme Objectives
- Easing the burden of life for the asnaf and the vulnerable.
- Providing immediate and medium-term aid.
- Being a bridge of compassion between supporters and those in need.
Categories of Aid Recipients
- AHouseholds earning below RM1,500
- BFamilies with five or more children
- CIndividuals in debt or at risk of bankruptcy
- DElderly people without steady support
- ESingle mothers or fathers
- FStudents from B40 families
- GPeople with chronic illness or disabilities
- HAffected micro and small entrepreneurs

Approach
Targeted financial aid, periodic home visits and basic-needs support across various recipient categories.
Aid Classification
To serve different groups with specific needs, Altruis Care aid is classified into three main parts.
Teduhan Kasih
Helping asnaf families with regular financial support for living costs, basic needs and food.
Teduhan Asnaf
Immediate aid for urgent needs such as medical care, emergencies and unexpected support.
Barakah
Monthly basic-food contributions to sustain asnaf families over time.
