The Orang Baik Ramadan 1447H Project
In a fast-moving city, not everyone gets to head home. Some break their fast at work, on a motorbike, at a bus stop, or by the roadside — not because they aren't grateful, but because life's circumstances demand it.
With this in mind, the Altruis Orang Baik Project introduces the Orang Baik Ramadan 1447H Iftar Project, an 'xpress' iftar initiative that is fast, practical and focused on the real needs of city communities.
Iftar Express | QuickGrab for those On-the-Road — distribution is carried out quickly, in an orderly manner and right on time, with food that is easy to carry and ready to enjoy, following a schedule and an organised team throughout Ramadan.
Who benefits? Members of the public who can't get home to break their fast — motorcyclists, shift workers, road users and those who break their fast as best they can on the streets. This is an ongoing effort, not just a seasonal campaign.
Goal
Ensuring no one breaks their fast without food on the city streets during Ramadan.
Approach
A fast, on-time 'xpress' iftar at 22 strategic sites across the 29 days of Ramadan.
